Akira
Akira raised an eyebrow at that; she didn't realize that she came across as such. It probably had to do with her heritage, though. She was a noble in every way it mattered, and if she didn't have her feathers, she would still be the head of her family, ready to inherit the fortune. "Spoiled, hmm? That's a new one. But, you look dehydrated, so let's continue chatting in the kitchen." She turned and walked off, expecting Mina to follow. She figured that it was best to get to know her Knight better since they apparently didn't really know each other at all.

Mina
Puzzled at her use in words, not that having a drink was a bad thing after finishing exercise. "Sounds good, I guess." She had to actually push herself later on anyways, seeing as this wasn't a lesson for Mina, but for Akira. The knight just assumed the prideful royalty of queenship was using reverse psychology to take a much needed rest. Regardless, she let Akira lead on towards the kitchen, passing through the halls of the castle within Finis Mundi. "People don't have the confidence to speak plainly to you often, do they?"

Akira
Akira walked alongside Mina, a small smile on her face like normal. She was taught that a smile was always supposed to be present when dealing with others when she was young, and to this day, she still hadn't dropped the habit. "Well, normally I'm talking to pawns, so they're terrified of me. I guess it comes with the nature of the job; I don't spend time here like you do."

"I train the pawns to learn to fight, and the little shits have it in their head they already know how to. Won'

Won't be my fault if they end up dead."

Mina continued down the passageway, sighing as she rubbed a hand along her neck. "Perhaps you should try and be a little less... intimidating, then. Unless that is, if you want them to have their tails between their legs when you're around."

Akira
"Well, I'm glad that someone teaches them, because I know that I wouldn't be good at it. You're leagues ahead of me in that regard," Akira said, looking over at the girl and smiling brighter at her. She walked into the kitchen finally and pulled out two glasses, one for each of them. "I don't act intimidating, though... At least, not that I can tell. Maybe it's Vasilios; he does tend to lurk and look a little scary. But, nevermind that. What would you like to drink?

Mina
"Water is fine. Especially after sparring practice." Leaning against the table, the redbird looked back at her avian queen. "Having a bodyguard like himself could send the wrong message. Perhaps, try and be personable amongst each of them. Get to know them as individuals; not pawns." Scratching her head, a sigh escaping her lips. "Granted, I should take my own damn advice."

Akira
Akira nodded and pulled a jug of cool water from the fridge, filling both glasses before passing one over to the Knight. After returning it to the refrigerator, she grabbed the other glass and hopped up on the counter so she could sit while she drank it. "He is a good bodyguard, though. No harm has come to me or anyone that was with me since he started. I'll just have to work harder to put our fellow members at ease while I'm working with them." She leaned forwards a little, looking into the other girl's eyes. "Is everything okay with you, though?"

Mina
A frown adorning her features, Mina shrugged. "Not sure what you're referring to. I'm just fine, unless you're referring to the troops. In which case, it's going better than I expected, at least." Taking the glass to her lips, she downed most of the water within seconds, enjoying the refreshment.

Akira
Akira frowned a little, taking a small sip of water before looking back up at the girl. Only kindness and worry could be seen in her eyes. "I'm worried about you personally, Mina. From what I've seen, unless you're ordering around pawns, you really only talk to Chrys, and I would hate for you to feel like she's your only friend. After all, us girls need to stick together around here."

Mina
Crossing her arms, dangling the glass lightly betwixt three two fingers and her thumb, Mina looked to the side. "I did not sign up to become friends with anyone. Realistically? I should despise Chrys for the rest of my days. But, I don't. That alone should speak volumes of my kinship within the Illuminati."

Akira
"None of us signed up for friends, but a group that cares for each other is one that fights harder for the lives of their comrades. One of these days, we're going to be in for the fight of our lives, and we're going to need that bond between our people," Akira replied, pulling the gallon of water out once more and setting it next to Mina in case she wanted more to drink.

Mina
Replenishing her supply of aqua blue, the Knight shrugged her shoulders. "People need to appeal to me to be what I would consider a 'friend.' Not to say I don't call this castle my home, I do. But I only feel like I could count on Chrys with my life. Everyone else holds a knife behind their back, ready to place it between my shoulder-blades." Blunt was a word many would use for Mina and her way of speech, amongst other things. She would tell you it's just her speaking the truth.

Akira
Akira frowned a little at that; she really didn't understand why the girl wouldn't trust in her or their King. She was careful to show no anger or disapproval around the people of the Illuminati to keep this kind of thing from happening. "Do you really think I would do something like that to you?"

Mina
Persed lips, mulling over her thoughts calmly before speaking, Mina shook her head. "Probably not. Not as long as I am a worthy asset to your cause. But, there are only three people in Remnant that I trust. As I said; only one of them are within the Illuminati."

"I'm sorry you feel that way," Akira said, finishing her water and placing her glass on the counter next to her. She moved from her spot and over next to Mina. "Do you want to go back to sparring now that you've had some water?"

Mina
Raising a brow, Mina looked perplexed. "I appreciate the concern on both fronts. However, it is unnecessary. If you are ready for more, then we can continue your daily routine."

Akira
"My routine is a lot less hitting and a lot more cardio," Akira giggled, smiling at the girl. Her stamina was practically unparalleled; it had to be for her to be successful in her fighting style. "Though, if you'd like to show me something else, I'd be a fool to say no."

Mina
Arms unfolded from her cross, as Vermillion turned the gesture into a shrug. "I am willing to do what you wish, my Queen. Whatever would be most beneficial." Mina was not particularly picky; however she didn't find sparring when she had an arm tied behind her back to be much use. The girl was abstinent about not being struck where it mattered most.
